The Great ADVENTure: day 8
Rainy and 50 today. Feels so much like home.
We did school around grandma's table today. At one point George got flustered with reading so I told him to take a break - "go shoot stuff". He came back later- refreshed- and we finished reading with a good will. After school we headed to costco to buy ingredients for granola.
We picked up schlotzkys for dinner and headed towards a cousin meet-up. We had planned on ice skating but the rain busted that idea since the rink is an outdoor seasonal deal.
Kathy dropped JonLuc and KT off at shakalaka to jump with us. It's a great trampoline jump-for-an-hour place in Huntsville. They have a free jump trampoline court, a dodgeball trampoline court, a 6 and under section with trampoline ramps that act like slides, a foam pit, a slack line foam pit, and a trapeze foam pit.
The kids had a blast- Alice LOVED it. I wish i had taken pictures. The trampoline ended up working better than ice skating since john and Alice likely would have hated skating.
We drove JonLuc and KT home and went back to grandma's for pajamas, and the Santa Clause 2 on tv.
I spoke with Chris and Henry via phone and it sounds like they are enjoying a bit of the bachelor life back home.
