the wolf

this is a graph coordinates picture that samantha mapped out. for more on graph pictures and how to do them go here.
******* means that you start a brand new line and the point plotted before the ****** does not connect to the point plotted after the *******.

this is a graph coordinates picture. for more on graph pictures and how to do them, go here.

****** means you do NOT connect the previous dot with the next dot- a new line is being formed seperate from the previous line or shape.

graph coordinate pictures- how to

today for math we did cartesian coordinate pictures. i drew up a horse and plotted the points then gave the kids the coordinates so they could make their own.
here is a good explanation on cartesian coordinate mapping.

i am going to log the pictures here on the blog for future reference- and if you would like to print them up for your kids feel free. i'd say it's a 3rd grade level type thing to do.
