Just a few more days of whole 30!

in actuality I will be extending it indefinitely.  I truly feel so good that I'd like to keep it up.  I have yet to figure out the problem I'm having with swimming.  But all else is peaches.
I'm sleeping so soundly.  I am going to the bathroom regularly and with ease.  I can engage my core at all hours of the day.  I just feel healthy, vibrant, and light.
I doubt I've lost much weight though my clothes fit better.
I had another food dream last week.  It involved a delicious brownie. It was fudgy and warm.  It felt like it had just come out of the oven yet there was something odd about it.  In the middle was a layer of hard and cold chocolate candy shell- a fine layer that when I bit into it, the cold and the warm came together and melted in my mouth.  So utterly delicious.
Not a minute later I start bloating and farting.
No lie.
The real effects of wheat on my stomach had followed me into my dreams!
Not FAIR!!!!

But it served as a sign to me.  When reintroducing foods, do NOT reintroduce wheat.

Swim season picks up tonight with time trials.  I walked into the little girls room and they were looking in the mirror and practicing putting on their caps.  "I can do it all by myself!!!"
George doesn't want to wear a cap over his mane.  He thinks he will look stupid.  So he has asked me to cut his hair- the hair he worked so tirelessly defending when grandma came in early May and was ready to take clippers to it.

Today is also "no screen time until your room is clean time!"
I included a picture of my new bed set up.  I like it facing the window in the summer.  Sunrise this am was at 5:12.  The sky is actually lit up at 4:45.  It is TOO early!  And then the sunset is approx 9:15.  I went to bed last night and there was still light in the sky.  I kind of like it- unless I want to sleep.
But the early sun also wakes up the stellars jays.
And stellars jays are a special kind of awful.
If you have never seen a stellar's jay - they are blue jays dipped in crow.
And if you have never had the sheer pleasure of hearing a stellar's jay, just imagine that a parrot had spent some time locked up with a hyena- how that would sound.
Up at 4:45 with stellar's jays.  I just turn the white noise higher.  And maybe even flip on the bathroom vent which is also loud.
But the magnesium I've been taking the last couple of days has had me KNOCKED out until the alarm to get Henry up for school.  Yes- school up here runs from Labor Day to mid June.  So I'm taking the magnesium Because I feel like it is somehow related to my weird swimming problem I blogged about earlier.  I'm thinking maybe I have an electrolyte imbalance.  So I'm salting my food a bit more and taking magnesium glycenate which makes me think of the Justin beiber SNL skit "ha ha, you said glice!" every time I take it.
