The Great ADVENTure: day 22-
Dutchbabies were being baked when I cane through Sarah's door this morning.
I had a taste- I had to see what all the fuss was about. It was indeed delicious. It looked like a blondie. It tasted like a really moist pancake.
Dave browned up some breakfast sausage and I ate it crumbled over a big bowl of buttered grits Sarah made- a great southern breakfast.
I took sprite out for a drink of water and he began taking a shower, splashing and running under the stream of water. I saw Sarah run for her camera so I left my camera stowed and let the master work. She caught some great images of her sweet faced little Linus watching the proceedings on her blog.

Mary Jane seemed to be fading as the morning wore on. She slept amidst a beatle's album playing and a raucous crowd of kids playing the piano and running to and fro.
I thought about the day. I was scheduled to visit my good friend , Michelle, that night. She is John's big hearted Godmother and I was aching to see her. Still, Mary Jane looked half there half not. When she was awake her eyes were at half mast.
I made the decision to just move on to my mom's house one day earlier than planned. We would not be bringing an illness that could be the flu to Michelle's full house. It would be a Christmas spent in bed for them if we did.
I called mom and asked her if that was ok. She readily accepted the change in plans. Meanwhile Erin and the other Sarah were planning a picnic at the park in Smyrna. Mary Jane said she would be ok just sleeping in the RV while we were at the park. Just like old times I loaded our Moe's order online and had it arranged for pick up a little before one.
We hit the park and it was so good to see Sarah M. Her olders were in school but her youngers(including my Godson) were free to play. Erin joined us as well. We leaned into our burritos while the wind whipped at us under the pavilion. I have been to quite a few chilly Moe's picnics at Taylor Brauner. Once we were done eating we moved out to the grass to get some sun to warm us up.
The kids played - always coming and going to check in with the circle of moms.
Erin smuggled some beer into solo cups and we shared hearts. I checked on Mary Jane a few times. She rested on the fold out couch, snuggled in a nest of blankets.
The sun lowered and time came for us to move on.
We parked at the first baptist church and the kids picked names. I gave them a $10 spending limit and we headed into Love Street- an old house on concord road that is filled with all kinds of great little gifts.
The kids carefully picked out presents for their secret Santa. We had them gift wrapped and labeled in the store and then we headed to the camper. I texted Henry to let him know who he would be buying for. Then I called mom and let her know We were on our way. She mentioned that they had eaten dinner already so I said I'd pick up dinner at chick fil a.
Getting onto the highway at 285 and Cobb parkway I got a glimpse at the clearing that will soon be the new braves stadium in 2017.
After a chick fil a dinner at the big table in mom's kitchen and a quick clean up we set up a movie for the kids. Mary Jane was still feeling awful but I hoped a good night's sleep would take care of it.
