Mr and Mrs Rainypants

So it's always either raining or puddly here. And that makes outdoor play with little difficult. Wet cold children does not equal happiness.
My keyboard needs the mathematical "does not equal" symbol.
To help avoid this sad situation I went to Joann's and bought some diaper cover fabric. It's not waterproof but it is water resistant. And I bought some FOE (which is seamstress text speak for fold over elastic).
"Hey, would you be my BFF and get some FOE?"
"Fo sho, make sure you pin your FOE a bunch so you don't have fabric slipping in and out"
"Oh gurrrrl, I've BTDT!!!"

Ok, enough texting.

By the way- John's look of concern is regarding a mr grumpyboy at the park- who yelled "NO" at him for no apparent reason. He also yelled "nyet" or however you spell "no" in Russian.


The pants worked great when Alice fell to her bum several times on the damp mulch. Also on the wet swings.
