As we cleaned up the chocolate baking powder she moved over to the bag of sugar.
I spotted it before she added to the chocolate.
As I came back from tucking the sugar bag high into the pantry I saw her with an open bar of butter.
She turned it up in her palm and reached towards the counter as if to scrub the counter with a bar of butter.
It being cycle day 10 I laughed heartily and embraced the making of impromptu brownies(we will call this batch "Alice's counter top brownies"). However, had it been cycle day 2 I would have exploded, cleaned as I whined, and then disappeared into my bedroom with a glass of wine.
What a difference a week makes!
