April update

April update~

Henry~ has outgrown his mama- I do think it's safe to say. His feet outgrew mine months ago. He now wears a 12-13 shoe like dad. He uses this advantage out in street basketball with the younger kids. Enjoy it now Henry! Because the kids are only growing!

Samantha ~ is well into lacrosse season. She is learning new skills and teaching us new terms. It's a pretty cool game- similar to basketball, soccer, and hockey. Recently she has strained her back(remember how she fell out of a tree in 2008?) and so she is taking spring break to rest and recover.

Max ~ has been playing pretty organized pick up soccer during Samantha's lax practice biweekly. He enjoys it so much(even the sprints & drills!!!) despite the rain. I'm thankful their fields are turf and there isn't any lightning.

George~ has been pick up soccer as well. And on top of that he's playing basketball nearly every day. his reading tutor has suggested audiobooks so he listens to a good bit of one every day. He "read" 3 books this week!

Mary Jane~ is always working on a special gift for someone. She is usually quietly sitting in her room cutting, drawing, or finger crocheting something. She likes to wake early and help me drop daddy off at work.

Frances ~ love love LOVES Alice. If Alice doesn't know her name by the end of this month I'll be surprised- Frankie calls it so much. She's always toting Alice about the house and she is ever looking for opportunities to give mommy a helping hand holding her.

John~ what can I say about him? He's a rascal with a heart of gold. He says "fine!" With a big sigh whenever he concedes a disagreement- which is often. He is learning to not climb on the table during meals. And he loves to draw and play catch. His favorite book character is lowly worm- "woe-wee murm".

Alice ~ she is currently next to me grabbing her toes. EC is going great with her- except for night pees- I'd rather have nice sleep. you know how Frankie loved kisses? Well, Alice loves holding your hand. If she is unsettled sometimes just letting her grasp your finger calms her right down. She loves to grasp my finger when she nurses.
