best blooms this year

last week i saved all the best blooms for my mom.  i cut and put them all together in a vase for her. 
little did i know that this week would bring the big wow blooms!  they are so big!
my favorite roses, however, aren't put in an arrangement as easily as the long stems.  but their color is breathtaking.  our homeschool group gifted them in a pot after jedidiah passed away.  they are called "josephs coat" for their color.  i think the best thing about them is that direct sunlight changes the petals from yellow to pink/peach.  so the overlapping of petals allows for slow changing color over the days as the bloom grows and spreads.
