we moved over the weekend. what a whirlwind few days!
now there are boxes waiting to be unpacked. we gave away SO much- but now that we have all our stuff under this small roof i am wanting to give even more away.
i think my favorite part about moving was looking through my old photo box. pictures of christmas mornings and family trips. pictures of births and of birthdays. the box goes from my first grade birthday party at putt-putt (i was wearing a red UGA shirt and jams-remember those shorts?) to the year after george was born. when george was about a year we went digital. it's good and bad. good because the box is easier to move. bad because i doubt i'll have any of those digital pictures in paper form.
i found this one envelope from when i was probably in 7th grade. father kevin is just kevin, sitting on the red carpet of the living room. he is about to give rose the enlarged black and white of her scoring on a header off a corner. he's got this classic father kevin look where he pulls his lips up and over and stuffs it all onto one cheek and shoots his eyebrows up. it just made me laugh.
it'll be nice getting to see him more. we're probably going to be frequenting the catholic center at gt for sunday mass now that we live alot closer.
back to unpacking boxes!
