i start week six of the couch-to-5k running program tomorrow. and i knew i had made progress when on tuesday last week i heard my legs saying to my brain "man, i can't wait until tomorrow- it's a running day!"
and friday, before my testimony at the capital in the hearing for HB954, i had SO much nervous energy that the 20 minute straight run(something i hadn't done since before george was born-he is 7) wasn't so intimidating. the nervous energy tided me over- and i pounded out a couple miles easy.
and john is now 3 months old(the age that the gym will take him in the child center) so the real training can begin- swimming, weight training, biking, etc. i'm kinda excited. i have a date with a friend on tuesday. she's going to teach me some weight training techniques and tips.
