john turns two! a late post

we celebrated on his birthday a few days ago.
i bought him some vintage toys on etsy. a fisher price school bus and some little people. also some playskool puzzles.
also on etsy- though on the handmade side- i bought him a blue fleece stuffed elephant.
that night max made a super yummy wheat free chocolate cake- using black beans. it tasted like one of those molten lava cakes you would get at a nice restaurant. i made chocolate ice cream to go with it because john loves himself some chocolate! he had a good day. but can he just slow down in the growing department?
