baptism tradition

father kevin says that when the hebrews of the old testament won a
battle or had some other great success they would stop right then and
there and build an altar on site and offer up thanks to God.
so after all baptisms in our family(except of course jedidiah's) the
baby is taken up to the altar and offered in thanksgiving.
here is father kevin and newly baptized john.
i just love this tradition- don't you?

thank you God for my faith and all the rich tradition that comes along
with it!
