growing up Catholic in the south wasn't always easy. most of the time i just kind of let ignorance of the True church roll off like water off a duck's back but there comes a time when the day has been long and the camel is carrying close to it's maximum in straw and you just can't take it anymore.

Wow! That letter was awesome! I was always shocked at the things my kids would hear from others or bring home on Halloween from people like that, who think it's "The devil's birthday." A kid actually said that to my oldest. I do get tired of hearing that somehow, we Catholics aren't Christian. It's sad, and I would have reacted the same way if someone did to my kids what they did to hers. Shameful. I could do without that kind of "witnessing."
i agree enid. it's all a shameful plot that is way less than innocent.
