land of the free and home of the braves

we met out by the front gates so we could claim our tickets from will call. fr. kevin is our family's unofficial emcee. he did great with the planning and coordinating but God had a final say.

katie and samantha.

karen(jerome and margaret's nanny) and a toothless david.

peter staying hydrated. it was HOT.

mary grace- "those clouds don't look too good. we should probably find some inadequate shelter between two towers housing slow elevators just in case the wind starts blowing at extreme speeds. shouldn't we dad?"

here's most of the gang that is about to get drenched. farther up, mom talks with the woman that lost a son in that horrible crash on 75 a few years back. they've been good friends with fr. kevin ever since the accident. he heard the report on the radio and rushed to the hospital guessing that there might be a catholic or two in need of the sacraments. zach hung on to life for about a week after. be praying for them as they are still healing.

george couldn't handle all the excitement...and heat. he had a nice little nap during most of the game and woke just in time to make a hasty exit in attempting to avoid getting drenched.

we had a good time, even though we didn't make our debut on the jumbo tron.

hotdogs and pizza. frozen lemonade and cotton candy. all were enjoyed.
