as i dished out banana pudding to the eagerly awaiting kids, chris stepped into the living room. franky made some choking noises so i asked samantha if she was choking. she said, "no".
"GET OUTTA HERE!" chris yelled.
all the kids froze. i didn't even look up from slopping dessert onto plates. i have been married to this man long enough to know that the only reason he raises his voice comes between april and october. so i added, "ATTA BOY!"
that was enough to remind the kids of the lesson they learned last summer about daddy and his fascination with the atlanta braves.
and by the way, mccann went deep- upperdeck deep. this is a good sign. starting the season with a win is never a bad thing.

We have got to get our dh's together. My Sean is the quietest, most mild-mannered guy. Outbursts? Him? No way - unless it's Michigan football, basketball or, yup, Braves baseball. I'm thinking, "What are you holler... Oh. Never mind." He also said he had a "good feeling" about the Braves this year. Gotta love 'em!!
wow, we definitely need to get them together. oddly enough, chris is a big fan of BIG M too!
