the old man

chris is now officially old. and now that puberty is behind him, he is starting to get serious about life...
his mom made a comment last night at dinner.
"i'm going to cry into my food. it's sad when your baby turns 30. now, i feel so old."
but i just had to remind her that we should be thankful. he defied all odds by surviving this long. he was such a crazy boy, she had to agree.
we have known each other for more than a third of our lives and i am so thankful.
