apple pickin'

we drove and drove and drove to east of ellijay to pick apples at bj
reece's apple orchard. we were joined by my friend, joyce, and her
kids. our total harvest was a bushel of rome beauties. the apple
pickers were so tuckered out that the van was quiet on the way home.
and the hard workers were met with a much deserved apple crisp at the
end of dinner.
