prevalence of cheating

it makes me sad that my children will, when they enter college, enter
a world where cheating is not only not shameful, but a given and
acceptable practice.
it is SO prevalent in my nursing pre-requisite courses. i was
approached by a lady last week whom i JUST met. she asked me what
online lecture class i was taking. we weren't in the same class- a
fact which she lamented. she wished to "tag-team". she explained
that she could take the test one week and share the corrected answers
with me, then i would return the favor the following week.
and she will likely float through nursing school in this way, and end
up the nurse taking care of us- adjusting our IVs, administering the
pills, and shuttling us through the hospital for our tests.
