i sent this pic to some guy online who identifies spiders. we'll see what it is. thankfully noone was bitten.
we threw a standard lego in the plastic pumpkin we caught him in so that they spider guy could have a frame of reference. i guess i stereotype people because i thought, "if this guy identifies spiders via email, he probably has also spent some valuable time building lego structures."

Matt's coworker runs the website bugguide.net and I just sent the picture to him and he said it is a wolf spider and is not dangerous.
