if i had any hopes of having an evening of enlightened conversation with chris while i knit as a cup of tea cooled on the table at my side, they are gone now.
he is curled up on the lay-z-boy under his favorite blanket keeping the remote busy as he follows the braves and his tigers(auburn). the enlightened conversation is more like this.
"go! com'on!"
"wasn't he hurt last game?"
no response.
"hello?"
"huh? oh,yeah. WHAT?!?! THAT'S BUSH LEAGUE!!!"
i hope they win. the air gets so thick i have to go get my air cutting knives out so i can make my way to the stove to brew another cup of tea.

Oh Liz, you made me laugh! My kids used to ask this, "Mommy, how come dad never hears us when he's watching baseball?" (or football, or golf...?) Of course, now it's daddy and Rory who can't hear... It's a good thing I like sports!
both teams won!!!
praise God.
Was Chris deprived of oxygen at birth? Is that why he goes for Auburn? (I'm an Alabama Roll tide fan) I love my red and white. (Just kidding bout the oxygen deprivation thing!)
