the belly project

i was just looking at this website- the belly project. it's a blog that you can email a picture of your exposed belly to and they will post it. in the subject line they will give your age, reproductive history, and any other pertinant information.
i was scrolling along looking at the pictures and wondering at the beauty of the normal non airbrushed tummy. it reminded me of my figure drawing class at georgia state.
then i came to this entry. my heart just aches for her. i mean, i feel the hurt that is under all that defiance and justification. there are others on there who have had abortions but her's has some underlying rage.
they've closed comments on her post, no doubt it's become a huge online debate. they mention that they were just following her orders. the passive aggressive side of me wants to send in a picture saying

AGE-31, 7 pregnancies, on miscarriage, one c-section, and one VBAC. and she realizes life is precious no matter what the circumstances are.

the one thing that's preventing me is the exposing yourself part.
