getting ready for church

mary jane crawled onto the queen bed where chris slept last night and her shoes waited to be put on. she watched as i got franky ready for mass. getting up onto the bed, she planted her face, open-mouth and all onto the sheets. once she was seated, she found the wet spot that her mouth left.
"eewie, daddy tee tee!"

then not five minutes later, she had given up waiting and decided to put her own shoes on. between grunts and pants i heard her mumble, "i fink i can."
