he emailed this past week. says he's growing a 'stache for troop morale. i think i can say truthfully that i've never seen this much facial hair on him. maybe once he grew a beard but i don't think it lasted long. it looks pretty funny. things are going well but he said the newness is wearing off and he's starting to feel the distance from us here are home. keep him in your prayers.

actually, the subject line of his email said "Fwd: FW Cool Pic (UNCLASSIFIED)"
i wonder what guy has that job- sifting through all information to be sent out to see if there's anything special...i wouldn't raise my hand for that one soldier.
