i am loved

i just got a box from a friend. it had the biggest most delicious scarf i've ever seen all crammed into it. sharing the small space was a black fleece stuffed bear she also made. there is nothing like getting a hand made gift. maybe the only thing better is giving a handmade gift. i know it took her a long time because she is a beginning knitter like myself. that on top of having a houseload of kids makes the stitches work very very slowly across the needle.
the best part about the scarf is...that it smells like her.
