Whole 30 day 8

Breakfast - flaked roasted sweet potato and hazelnuts- my new fave.  Sautéed chicken and kale with a scoop of leftover curry sauce(kids ain't eatin' it!) and a little extra creamy coconut milk and cortido.
Lunch- chicken Italian sausage crumbled, guacamole, the veggies that aren't pickles in that farmers pickle jar, cortido, on romaine.
Dinner- two burgers crumbled on top of mixed greens, an avocado, onions, tomatoes, pickles, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and mustard.

Today I tried to get a little creative so that my eyes "ate" first.

I'm trying to make all my bites of food within the parameters of a sit down meal and off a plate.  I'm a bad snacker, picker, taster. As my family's cook I tend to graze as I prepare meals.  So I've been making a very big effort to wait until meal time.  And enjoy the food with everyone else.
