the economy

the kids are aware of how the economy is not so hot. they overhear grandma fret. they hear people compare it to the great depression. just the other day max and henry came inside with their own little "stimulation" project. they were across the street when i got a call on the cell phone. i couldn't answer it because i was on the couch knitting, covered with sleeping girls. when i heard the phone i thought, "i bet that's the neighbor calling to tell me something's wrong with one of the boys." then i quickly put that out of my head and kept knitting. henry then came into the house with frozen brussel sprouts on his face, followed by my neighbor and her daughter. my neighbor explained that max was swinging the driver in their back yard and henry walked behind him. his jaw, was a little bruised- not broken- thank God. one of his teeth poked through his his cheek right by his lip but only enough to make a pinhole. the tooth that did the damage was wiggly. it fell out later in the day. henry said, "that's the easiest dollar i've made yet!" so, if you need to make some quick and easy cash, you can borrow max and his driver- just make sure you've got good medical insurance because every "stimulus" package isn't guaranteed to go as smoothly.
